Frequently asked questions

What does a U3 pool skimmer do?
The U3 Skimmer removes floating debris from the pool surface by drawing water, leaves and other debris into the pool’s circulation and filtration system.
How often should I empty the U3 Skimmer basket?
Check the basket regularly and empty it whenever debris has built up. Pools with nearby trees or heavy leaf fall may need more frequent cleaning.
Can I use a pool vacuum through the U3 Skimmer?
A compatible manual pool vacuum can generally be connected through the skimmer using the appropriate vacuum plate and hose. Contact us to confirm the correct setup for your pool.
What happens if the skimmer basket is full?
A full basket can restrict water flow to the pump, reducing circulation and filtration performance. Keeping it clear helps protect your pool equipment.
