Frequently asked questions

Does the Sand Shark need a separate booster pump?
The Sand Shark is a suction side cleaner that operates from the pool’s filtration system. Contact us to confirm whether your existing pump and plumbing can provide the required flow.
How does the Sand Shark clean a pool?
The Sand Shark uses two-way cleaning: its rubber fins scrub and loosen dirt from the pool surface, while suction carries debris into the pool’s filtration system.
What pool surfaces can the Sand Shark clean?
The Sand Shark is suitable for gunite, fibreglass and vinyl-lined in-ground pools.
Does the Sand Shark have a bag to empty?
No. Debris is drawn into your pool’s existing filtration system, so there is no cleaner bag or onboard debris compartment to empty.
